Angela is First Responder Malibu's Director of Operations. She was born and raised in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. At 18 she moved to the US to go to college and study English and Art. After graduating, she landed a job working for the vice president of the world-famous Getty Art Museum in Los Angeles. Angela first began working in the field of addiction in 2007 at Malibu Beach Recovery Center (MBRC) in Malibu, CA. In 2014 after MBRC was sold, Angela used her knowledge of state health codes and regulations, with her organization and extreme attention to detail, to assist several substance use treatment centers open for business. She eventually was hand-picked for Summit Estate Recovery Center as the Director of Operations, and in 2025 assumed that position at First Responder Malibu. Her mission is to help people make positive changes in their lives. Angela’s diverse talents include interior decoration, event planning, and project completion. In her free time, she loves to travel, shop, swim, and spend time with her family.
